Eligibility and qualification

Carriage & Wagon Department:

• TXR/G-III (BPS-14): DAE in Mechanical with 20 years of experience in Rolling Stock repair maintenance field.
• Foreman/Gr-I (BPS-14): DAE in Mechanical with 20 years of experience in Rolling Stock repair maintenance field.
• TXR/Gr-II (BPS-12): DAE in Mechanical with 10 years of relevant experience.
• Sub Engineer –II / Senior Chargeman (BPS-12): DAE in Mechanical with 10 years of relevant experience.
• Mistry (BPS-09): Middle education with 10 years of relevant experience.
• Skilled (C&W Fitter, Coach Builder, Welder) (BPS-06): Middle education with 10 years of relevant experience.

Loco Department:

• Foreman/Gr-I & Electrical Foreman/Diesel Gr-I (BPS-14): DAE in Mechanical with 10 years of relevant experience.
• AFO/Sr. Chargman, AEFO Diesel & FIC (BPS-12): DAE in Mechanical with 10 years of relevant experience.
• JCM & S.E E Diesel (BPS-11): DAE in Mechanical with 10 years of relevant experience.
• Misrty Mech: & Elect Diesel (BPS-09): Middle education with 10 years of relevant experience.
• Skilled Wireman Diesel & Fitter Mech: & Electrical Diesel (BPS-06): Middle education with 10 years of relevant experience.

Age limit and other conditions

• Upper age limit: The maximum age limit is 62 years.
• Exclusions: Persons who were compulsory retired, removed, dismissed, or retired on medical grounds are ineligible.
• Contract terms: Contract is for 1 year, extendable for another year if required.
• Remuneration: Pay in BS-06, BS-09, BS-11, BS-12, and BS-14 according to last pay drawn along with usual allowances. No pension or gratuity contributions will be provided.
• Medical fitness: Must pass a medical fitness examination at Pakistan Railways Hospital. No TA/DA will be paid for test or interview.
